Get cozy by the fireplace on cold winter nights and watch your favorite show or movie. Enjoy the chef's kitchen, designed for efficiency and function. It's like a culinary command center where every detail is optimized for creating exquisite meals. The open-concept layout seamlessly flows from the dining area to the kitchen, making it an entertainer’s dream with ample gathering space. The kitchen offers a center island with nearby French doors leading to the garden terrace, where you can enjoy the outdoors and sunset views. The primary bedroom suite is spacious and beautiful, with a comfortable king-sized bed, luxury linens, and a large walk-in closet. Casa Piñones established 2024 - Built in 1954 by Las Alamos scientist Arthur Hemmendinger and his wife Peggy. A beautiful mid-century pueblo home in the heart of an old piñon forest filled with well-loved art and trinkets from the owner's thirty-five years of travel and life. This magical home is in the path of an old river frequented by local native Americans. This land holds the historic artifacts that they use daily. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, perfect for preparing a meal or simply enjoying a morning coffee while taking in the views of the surrounding landscape. What really sets this property apart, however, is the art. Each room is filled with carefully curated contemporary pieces, creating an inspiring atmosphere.The location is ideal too, offering a quiet retreat just a short drive from the vibrant heart of Santa Fe. This is quite the home! We've rented a number of places over the years, and this is a a clear standout. A beautiful, sprawling layout. Cool and interesting art. It is amazingly well appointed --- they have everything you could imagine you might need in the kitchen and elsewhere. As just one example, they have warm blankets and heavy-duty skewers for when you want to make s'mores on the fire pit. Staff support as needs arise throughout the stay is unmatched. The pool and outdoor spaces are wonderful and relaxing. The bedrooms were unique and large, the beds comfortable. Many different places to sit and relax, read a book, or visit. A truly memorable and lovely stay.
